Hi Anthony I bit the bullet and bought a pair of the KEF LS50 speakers and I have to say they are absolutely extraordinary performers with my NXV200 amp. I had been using large VAF floor standers but these are on another level altogether.I auditioned the KEF's at the Brisbane dealer and they sounded great with top line amps but when I ran them from my HPA amp in my small, non dedicated listening area they blew my socks off. Bass was enormous and clean, which surprised me. Staging and imaging was breathtaking!Last week I paired the KEF's with a REL SubZero 6.5 inch sub which uses a high level speaker input. My first solid state amp build has delivered ‘precision’ results, just as your company logo promised. For some time I had been researching DIY solid state amps, I quickly narrowed down the field once I came across the HPA website, subsequent research told me this was the way to go. I made contact with Anthony and explained my desire to try one of his products (more out of curiosity to compare my various DIY tube amps with solid state, I needed to know the sonic difference and hey who doesn’t need another amp anyway?)My speakers are full range Lowther’s and when I contacted Anthony he suggested a dual mono amp using 2 x NXV200L R4 output modules, I.E two separate amps housed in the same case, these put out 55watt per channel so just perfect for the job.I decided to design and build my own case which turned out well...

Hi Anthony,Thanks for the quick reply.The modules have been tested and sound fantastic playing through my now very quite old Bose 901 speakers.I plan to purchase a valve pre-amp to mate the power amp to.Then my final project will be to build a set of speakers, either Jim Holtz's Statement IIs or Troels Gravesen's Seas Classics, either of which should do justice to this fine amplifier.The testimonials praising your NXV200L dual die amplifier modules are certainly justified.Thanks again and Kind Regards,John from NSW, Australia
