The Mini MCU Power Controller One R1.2 AC mains controller is designed to allow the use of low current, low voltage switches to control the AC Mains and control external Solid State Relays with precise controlled timing.
This new updated MCU power controller now has a much higher power AC mains current limiter built into the power controller.
This keeps to a bare minimum the mains wiring required to get this very important part of the amplifier built.
The AC mains current limiter now has double the amount of current limiting thermistors.
The limiter side of the power controller has been tested with as much as 100,000uf in total and powering one 1500VA or one 3KVA toroidal transformers without breaking a sweat.
The R1.2 controller now has a smaller foot print measuring 110mm x 64mm printed circuit board and has addition AC mains connectors to power as many as two large toroidal transformers.
The Mini MCU Power One controller R1.2 can also be used with any mains powered switching power supplies on the market.
In addition to doing this the mains controller has a two channel DC offset detection circuit which can monitor the amplifier outputs and in the event of an amplifier fault will power down the AC mains.
Additional sensors can be added to the MCU AC mains controller for temperature control or any other sensors that could assist the controller to protect your equipment.
It is also designed to control the Holton Solid State Relay boards directly, providing perfectly timed control of the relays to provide ideal loudspeaker protection, delivering silent power on and power off control.
The mains controller is compatible with worldwide AC mains 110VAC - 120VAC 60Hz to 220VAC - 240VAC 50Hz.
