The Gain Block One is a Class A gain selectable stereo preamplifier, four basic gain settings can be selected individually per channel, from a gain of 2, 3, 4.5 and 7.5, at very low noise and THD, SNR of -124dB and THD of 0.00052% and biased into full Single Ended Class A output, with input and output couple using high quailty metallized Polypropylene film capacitors.
Designed to be used between a RIAA Phono amp or used to boost the output of your high end DAC or any other application where extra Hi End gain is required in your sound system.
The power supply for the Holton Gain Block One is a fully electronic regulated balanced supply with 3 levels of PI DC filtering before the main regulators, ensuring a low noise smoothed DC supply feeding the electronic regulators supplying the main Class A JFET Input and Single Ended Output Stage preamplifier.

The printed circuit board is made from high quailty 2mm thick FR4 material with a thick 2 ounce copper foil, Gold immersion plated.
