As a update on the progress of the Dc One Blocker unit, I commenced a burn in program using a " Isotek Full Burn In And Rejuvenation CD " I have had this disc for some years now when it came with my previous Isotek Sigmas GII power conditioner, ATM I have the cd player and tv connected via a HPM plug boss power board , I believe that capacitors need around 100 hours to settle then further improvement over the next few hundred hours, my limited experience with power strips and conditioning units has been that components benefit but amplification suffers and tends to portray a lean presentation to the music , when i plugged my two Accuphase amplifiers to the DC One this was no longer a issue, the DC One gives the open and full bodied sound i have come to expect from direct to wall outlet performance with the DC One unit in line a sophisticated manor to the performance has taken place, gone is any trace of harsh dynamics, a most compelling result . thanks so much for this stellar product and I would recommend that audio enthusiasts looking for a DC and mains conditioning unit that has no dynamic limitation to look at this wonderfully designed and manufactured product. I auditioned the Holton DC blocker in my system today. I was doubtful that it would bring much to the table as my system was already powered by a separate mains power line and I really believed my power quality was clean. At first listen the difference was subtle but when I removed it and had a listen again it seemed like everything was less precise the sonic image sounded significantly smeared like someone putting Vaseline cream on your lens. I put the DC blocker back again and it seemed like I could hear deeper into the recording, bass notes were more precise, there was a greater sense of space and ambiance in the recording. I don't believe the DC blocker just solves a hum problem, it will probably help improve your entire system's performance. I just placed an order with Anthony. Highly recommend you try it in your system

I just wanted to let you know the DC blocker you sent me is fully effective in removing transformer hum and has had a profound benefit to the quality of sound in my system!
The noise floor is lower, I’m hearing so much more information that it makes the music breathe more easily. I really believe that this (dirt cheap, in comparison to my other components) unit has allowed everything else to perform optimally.

I decided to plug my new DC filter in and put my video system on it to break it in. At first the TV picture was overly bright and a bit harsh but over a few hours it is looking more natural. The filter is intended for my audio system but I am ABSOLUTELY DUMBFOUNDED- the filter is 2 rooms away from my audio system (which is on its own dedicated circuit) and it has had a profoundly positive effect on my audio quality!!! A greater effect than any other tweak I have used IN the system. Is this even POSSIBLE or have I lost my mind? The dynamics are way more intense, imaging is amazingly improved as is tonality. It was a bit on the brighter side . I had the filter on the glass shelf of the TV stand- I put some bubble wrap under it and went back into the audio room and darn- it's smoother and even more dynamic with a more neutral balance.

Tom From Victoria, Australia initially bought the DC Blocker One as a try out in the hope to stop a very acoustically noisey power transformer in his Parasound Integrated amplifier. Well it turns out the Parasound has an actual fault and needed to be sent of for repair. Here is Tom's testimony in his own words.
"Well. I decided to put aside my initial disappointment concerning hum, took the Blocker back out from the shipping box and auditioned it as the independent component it is. I have been using the Holton DC Blocker for about and it works great, there is no power drop-off as you said. My mono blocks are still as dynamic as they used to be except they no longer hum randomly :)
I have a question for you, I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but ever since I plugged the DC Blocker into my mains, my lights no longer flicker. They flickered for the past 5 years, all of them, LED or Halogen! But it no longer flickers and we're so happy. At first I thought it was a coincidence but my lights haven't flickered for a whole month, it can't be a coincidence!

I have recently bought a Holton DC Blocker, removed about 95% of my Amp hum, improved SQ and that annoying hum so worth the investment. I had spend years trying to solve the hum, I thought it must have been a faulty amp in the end as I have a P10 re-generator so I thought it could Not be DC related, until I read an article on hum where it stated that the P10 doesn’t remove this type of a DC issue.
