Hello, my name is Troy Madden and I wanted to share my experience with Anthony and his NXv200 amplifier modules. I had decided I wanted all rack mount audio equipment and to buy used rack mount amps and update them with state of the art electronics. After browsing eBay for a while I settled on Sumo amplifiers. I really like the look of them, and they have large heat sinks and beefy power supplies, since they are class A-AB. I was able to buy the Polaris's for less than one could buy chassis, heat sinks and transformers, etc. Since I am tri-amping my system, I bought 2 Polaris amplifiers and 1 Andromeda. Meanwhile I was also researching amplifier kits and modules. I found Anthony's site and was impressed by the specs on his modules so I ordered two of the nxV200's for my tweeter amps and Two NX400NP for my mid amps. So far I have only installed the nxV200's but I am very pleased. I am running waveguide metal dome tweeters and the slight harshness and sibilance I was hearing with a my other amps is virtually absent with Anthony's modules. Noise is almost undetectable. I could instantly hear the difference between a stock Sumo Polaris, which already had impressive specs, and Anthony's modules. It only got better when I changed the input capacitor to a 5mfd metallized polypropylene. Anthony indicates in the manual that one may wish to upgrade the input capacitor. When I get goose bumps, and a little choked up, I know I am on to something! I don't think I have ever heard any better high frequency reproduction, at least from dome tweeters. The highs are pure, clean and true to life. Just a joy to listen to, and fatigue free. Systems I thought sounded pretty good before sound lacking now. I don’t think I will be thinking about upgrading my tweeter amps for a very long time! Anthony is a great guy to deal with too. I wish him much success!
